1 x Land Ship with turret - optional weapons
Not to be outshone by the Army and its dammed Tankovsky the Royal Navy
commissioned the Jerusalem Iron Works to construct a new class of
Ironclad. ''HMLS Gladstone'' was the first in this new class of Land
Battleships.'' We will take the Navy to the enemy wherever he hides the
lack of a sea will not be an obstacle!'' so said First Sea Lord and
Admiral of the Fleet Sir Arthur Hood. HMLS Gladstone first saw active
service in the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879. However it did not distinguish
itself in combat as it became stuck fast in the Buffalo river close to a
small outpost known locally as Rourke's Drift, what became of the crew
is unknown.
PLEASE NOTE:- THE CREW ON THIS MODEL SHOWN IN THE PICTURE ARE FROM AN
EARLY PROTOTYPE. THEY ARE NOT AS SHOWN, THEY ARE UNARMOURED.
